Can I volunteer at The Wave to increase my logged hours?

Yes, you can! The Wave is always looking for help in managing student resources, expanding our online footprint, social media marketing, animation, and more. We always appreciate the help, and you will enjoy multiple benefits for your work with us. Additionally, you don't work for hours, but for tasks. This means that The Wave will hardly impact your daily life, but will continue increasing your hours towards Presidential benefits. For more, Join the Crest.

How does The Wave provide these awards?

We work closely with a certifying organization to provide prestigious pins and recognition to volunteers who have made a significant impact in their communities. Our partners in certifying organizations play a crucial role in verifying and certifying that volunteers have met the requirements to receive the prestigious President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) within a specified period. These organizations, which can range from nonprofits, community-based organizations, schools, government agencies, and more, verify volunteer hours, confirm eligibility, and ensure the ethical conduct of the program. By collaborating with certifying organizations, we are able to celebrate and honor individuals who go above and beyond in their service to others. Join us at The Wave as we recognize and elevate the outstanding contributions of our dedicated volunteers.
