Death, the Inevitable: Why is No One Ever Ready? Matthew Saporito
00:00 / 00:37

Flowing down the gentle river

As my thoughts and feelings flow at ease,

Riding with the stream and leaves as

I feel my mind is at peace.

Paddling my boat to the gentle and

Graceful end as one abstained

The heart becomes far from resentful,

My heart and mind were once regretful.

Abruptly, thoughts enter my mind,

Ill thoughts of great triumph, taboo, and terror.

Acts of looking back in denial

Bring sick thoughts while one’s boat goes back to one’s aisle.
