The Kiss I Ask of You

About the Writing
Did you really think that we'd spoil the poem with an introduction?
The Writing
My fairest beauty, you hold my love and seal my pain,
Like a glistening spark, you hold my flame,
Oh, the fairest one where beauty lies,Â
A kiss of fate you mustn't deny.Â
Your lips are so pure and eyes so bright,
Like the fresh fallen snow amidst a winter's night,
Oh, fairest beauty, you have captured my soul,
I am part of you; together, we are whole.
Forsake my kiss that I ask of you
And blood and tears shall surely ensue,
Deny me not, my love so true,
Accept the kiss I give to you.
If thou deny'st our fate so blessed,
You will be the blade upon my chest,
If I die, you shall suffer too,Â
You are a part of me, and I am a part of you.
I suffer twice, and you suffer the rest,
You suffer from guilt, and me from death,Â
We suffer together if thou deny'st this love so true.Â
